Guild Cottage is a specialist non-profit organisation based in Johannesburg that provides residential care, therapy, and rehabilitation for girls between the ages of 6 and 18 who have survived sexual abuse and have been placed in their care by the courts. Established in 1907, Guild Cottage has evolved into one of South Africa’s most important child protection organisations, offering a safe and nurturing environment where young survivors can heal, regain their confidence, and rebuild their futures. They are recognised as one of the few specialised residential treatment centres of their kind in South Africa.
